Chase Amazon Visa - yea!!

Not sure about Chase and "Temp" limits these days but several years ago my mom was given a $400 temp line on Zappos and when the card came in the mail it was $9k!!

I hope you get a nice line but even $3k doesn't sound to bad for starting line at Amazon... I don't tend to hear the Amazon Visa having crazy high lines like Marriott or CSP.

Congrats on the approval. Chase gave me the same limit a few years back on this card (it's never grown). Glad to hear they've earned your loyalty, just be mindful to have other relationships as things can change due to many unforeseen circumstances.

I just got my card in the mail and i was approved for temp 2k limit and the limit stayed the same. Congrats on the the approval

I was actually considering closing mines! 3 points on amazon and 2 points at gas stations and restaurants..perks are not bad but they started me with a 400 dollar limit. It has since jumped to 700 and now sits at 1400 as of last month.

Does anybody know if I could move the entire credit line over to my Freedom, or would I have to leave 500?

My temp limit of $1800 ended up being my final limit when I got the card. I can't get them to auto increase my limit on it either(or my Freedom). . .but they give me increases like it's candy of my two high limit cards with them.

Hope you're right......3K is a good CL for me personally, I have 2 Freedom Cards 1 @ 500 and 1 @ 1800; both seem to be stuck @ these limits.  Haven't called for CLI due to so many Inquiries already, have a Slate @ 3.5K, Chase Sapphire @ 5K, hope these will grow along with this new Amazon Visa.  I'll nourish these with spending over the next few months and see.
