Hey Fico Fam! Just posting another great success story or you guys on Thanksgiving!
I placed a Chase Freedom APP on November 3rd, got the dreaded 7-10 message and thought I was prob denied because I read on the forums thats Chase requires a 1 year minimum (This is False!). That being said, I pulled the trigger on the Chase Sapphire Preferred since they do use the same Credit Report Pulled within the time frame of another APP. That got the dreaded message as well! I called Chase EO the next day and asked for Recon on the Chase Freedom APP and was denied.
Couple days later I check the Pre-Qual Chase link and the freedom card pops up! Decided to pull the trigger for the Freedom Card APP again and was approved with 4K Limit! Funny how the EO Office member denied my 1st Freedom app only 5 days before getting my 2nd app approved.
Not sure if they pulled another report or used the same report from my previous APP, but an approval I'll take anyday! I finally have my lineup of card (check Sig) and will garden until I reach 800 scores on all.
Here is some insight:
1) Only 10 months of credit history when my Freedom APP was approved! I did not have a Full year! My AAOA is only 2 months!
2) Fico scores on all 3 are about 720-760.
3) I had about 8 inquiries on both EXP and 5 on EQ.
4) Chase Pre-Qual Link is accurate about 99%.
5) Dont give up!
