I didn't want to start a whole new thread but my Chase Freedom card has been my lowest credit limit for a long time. It was around $2800. I didn't want to do a hard pull so I never called. I've had this account since 2011. I called the credit analyst apartment number and he told me that there would need to be a hard pull that would be necessary for a credit line increase. He also told me that he had to transfer me over to a regular representative to do the credit line increase. When I got transferred over that lady representative told me that they could do a credit line increase that would not involve a hard pull to $4,800. I initially was going to bite the bullet and do a hard pull and try to get the limit to be around 10,000 like my other cards, but when I heard that she can do 4800 without a hard pull I decided to stick with that amount. So I'm happy.
