Congrats. CLI you got is worth a HP.

Hopefully this shows people not to be afraid of Chase's hard inquiry policy, as it can yield very nice results.
Completely agreed. And, truthfully, their policy is accurate. If you are seeking a CLI you are seeking new credit. A $6,300 CLI was definitely worth the HP.
I got my card today and called to activate and request additional increase on my limit since it's the least compared to discover and BofA
she said she will have to run a credit report and she didn't know if it was a hard pull or soft anyways I told her my income and run it and she came back with a I'm sorry blah blah
but i asked her once again if it's going to be a hard or soft pull and she had no idea and was going to transfer me to account specialist or credit specialist to answer my concerns -.-
oooh the pain... another ding on my inquiry

UPDATE***** Received a letter from Chase that they could not accomodate my request but to ask again in 60 days. I think it is the 60 days because my account becomes 13 months old next month.
Nice increase!
Did you ask for $10K or did you ask for more and they countered? Just curious how Chase works. Thanks!
