Hello all,
Yesterday I logged into my Chase account to see a CLI on my Chase freedom from $600 to $1200.
My question was if anyone was succeesful in re-coning a SP CLI from Chase without getting an HP? I do appreciate the CLI but I still think it's too low to really get a lot of use out of it.
Congrats to the CLI...I would not ask for more right now after all Chase doubled your limit. .....but that is just me..LOL
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
one of two things:
A. Chase is stupid and decided to extend credit when no one will use it (post holiday shopping LOL)
B. People have began paying back Holiday debt at faster paces and Chase is cli'ing folks.
Either way,
Chase loves to HP.
Imo, if you can spare an inq, I'd just open a new Chase credit card account with a phat sign up bonus. Ime, after 6months to a year of having an existing account, they seem to approve higher cls initially. I've been using Chase CC's since 2007. In all of that time, I have received ONE auto cli LOL.... on a Platinum Card from $400 to $700. LOL
I got a $5k Freedom in 2012, then a $6k CSP last year, and a $25k Marriott in January. Chase seems to def'ly value relationships. If you bank with Chase, they like that too!
I do bank with them, both a checking and savings account. I also have the regular Chase Sapphire with them with a $5000 limit. Recently I did a 3x CLI on my AMEX BCE from $5500 to $15000.
I think for now I'll just be happy with the CLI from them but not make the Freedom my everyday card yet.
Thanks for the congrats all.
Congrats! on the 50% CLI
