Chase Freedom! Should I go on a Spree?

Just got approved for Freedom for 4.5k after calling the Recon line to verify some info!

My ultimate goal is to rack up miles for travel and I'm basically eyeing for CSP, and Citi AAdvantage 50k.

Currently all my three FAKO scores hover around 710 with 1 year of credit history on my single BofA TravelRewards Card with a 2.5k CL. Total of around 3 HP (BofA Card, BofA CLI, Chase Freedom) for each CRA .I want an Amex and was wondering what would be the best card for me?

Also, I'm thinking of doing CSP right now but I'm worried as I know that I just got approved for the Freedom and I feel like 1. not having a 5k+ CL card and 2.1 yr of credit history will get me a denial.

Edit: Also if i applied for another Chase card would it be another HP or do they use the same scores pulled earlier?

Couldn't resist and app-ed the CSP and got approved after calling a specialist for 12k

Probably going to apply to the citi aadvantage 50k now...

Applied for the Amex Starwood Preffered Guest and got instant approved

Applied for Discover IT and got approved after proof of being a student.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Congrats on the Freedom. Another app with Chase will result in another HP. I have always spaced my apps with Chase out by around 4-6 months and it usually works.

Try the Citi pre-qualified link on their webpage. I would go for the AAdvantage 50k if it was me, especially if Citi has you pre-qualified for something.

I WOULD DO IT!

Chase is known to give even higher CL's on the 2nd app.

and go for the citi, you got $4500 out of chase I would think you would see similar out of citi.

Where is the pre-qualified link on the webpage? I've looked around but havent seen anything.

And I'm still on the fence about app-ing for the CSP right now. Very tempted to though. Maybe I should just do both and see what happens? haha...

EDIT: So i found the citi pre-qualified link and after entering my info it says " (Insert my name here), we couldn't match your records to a Pre-Qualified credit card offer but we think you'll like this card" and showed me the Citi® Platinum Select® / AAdvantage® World MasterCard®. If I apply through this will it help my chances?

won't help chances if not pre-qual but doesn't mean you won't be approved.

you should just do both I think.

Since i got the Freedom would my AAoA have dropped from 1 year to 0,5 years? Or will the other apps not show that I already have the Freedom and my lowered AAoA?

Also, if that is true, is that why people do app-sprees?

Just Applied for the CSP and got this msg:

"Please call us as soon as possible at U.S. 1-877-260-0087 or International 1-302-594-8200 Mon-Sat 8am-10pm ET and Sunday 10am-9pm ET to discuss your application with a Customer Support Specialist.

Please reference _________ when you call."

Different from what i've seen people get. Anyone knows what this means? I just called and have been waiting for a rep for 5 min so far
