I worked on paying down some debt and then decided to apply for some new cards. I got approved for:
Chase Freedom Unlimited - $3000
Discover It - $1000
Amex BCE - $500
They aren't fantastic limits, but I'll take it considering I didn't think I would get approved in the first place because my scores aren't higher. The Amex BCE card said after 5 on-time payments they would increase my credit limit. I'll work on CLIs eventually. My report has no baddies, 11 inquiries (mostly from trying to get new cards awhile ago - most fall off this year), $65,000 in school loans (in deferrment), a car loan for $21,000, and a personal loan with $2500 left on it (started at $5000). AAoA is 3yrs. Income is $60,000.
Congratulations!! Nice going....time to garden and let them all grow...pay down you Utilization...great start to a fun journey....
Thank you! I'm staying in the garden now because I would like to try and get a house in the next 2-3 years. Only thing I might look into is refinancing my car loan to get a lower rate. My next goal is to get that 33.94% utilization paid off in the next year or so.
