Re: Chase Freedom -- APPROVED AFTER RECON

Just got off the phone with another rep, he immediately put me on hold after the verification questions and said he saw I only have that one revolving account, after about 2 minute holding I was approved for a $500 CL. Rather low, but I'm not complaining!!!

THANKS FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS GUYS!

I love this board, so helpful :smileyhappy:

Re: Chase Freedom -- denied, APPROVED AFTER RECON!

Eschaton wrote:

Hi guys, I just got denied by Chase Freedom, I thought I'd apply because of all the success I've seen lately.

I was denied for:

Length of time on accounts that have been established (1 year 3 months)

Too many inquiries in the last 12 months (2, 1 from a credit union to open an account and one from Amex)

Balances too high compared to credit limites (20% utilization)

My question is, is it worth trying to recon this? I kind of expected the denial because my low history

They pulled EX and said my score was 728.

Chase is all over the place it seems. I had 2 INQ that Citi and BoA reported 1 day before i apped for a Freedom when i went on an application spree. They said nothing to me. Your balances arent high either. Its like they made up reasoning to deny you :smileysad:
