It's at least 2 of the requirements, to get a Visa Signature card you must have at least a $5k limit. With chase you cant upgrade or do a number of other things until you've had your card for a minimum of 12 months. I did some research here on the forums before I tried for the upgrade. I'm pretty sure its the only two requirements though because thats all they asked from me.

You should do it, it's fairly easy. I did it to help keep myself in the garden, the little things like this keep my application urges down to a minimum.

One7, did you receive your card yet? I received my upgraded VS last night and it doesn't have the EMV chip like my older Freedom. It does appear to have blink though. For now, Blink makes more sense for me.

I received it 2 days ago and it did have the chip. Thats weird  you didnt get one, looks alot better with it
