Talk about tenacious!!! Congrats on the new card and CLI from Chase. They do seem to be one of the better creditors with recons, but it doesn't look like you were willing to take NO as an answer, ever

I applied for the Hyatt card last week and immediately got the 30-day message and email. Robo Lady changed the next day to the dreaded 7 to 10, the letter came, and I was shot down during recon, but I asked if he could approve a CLI on my Disney Premier He transferred me; they did another hard pull and Boom immediately declined. So I called recon back, and the nice lady on the phone after asking me all the same questions approved a $2500 CLI on my Disney card. I hung up called recon back and asked if anything on my new report changed and would help with my Hyatt card, after a brief 30-minute hold and chat session I was approved for the Hyatt for it's minimum $5000 limit. All in all, I'm happy and glad I didn't give up! Data points: I had a charge off with a Slate in 2007 that they all mentioned (and was the reason in the denied letter) According to the same letter my TU is 763, and I haven't had any lates or blemishes on my report in nearly seven years, so I was pretty confident I had a good shot.
Congratulations! It's good to know that Chase's "blacklist" is not an absolute for those of us who have burned Chase in the past. I'm happy to see that second chances are possible!
Wow impressive! Congratulations
