Citi CLI success w/o HP

After paying my debt down, I was itching for a CLI. Since my Citi Diamond Preferred MC is my daily driver, I thought I'd request a CLI. I asked for a $1,500 CLI and it was instantly approved without a HP.

Just thought I'd share.

Congrats. I hope Citi would be generous with me while giving cli on dividend credit card. CLI through SP are best.

Re: Citi CLI success w/o HP

How long has it been since you requested a CLI on that account ?

And did you have a luv button show up on your account page or did you have to go to accounts and services menu and find the "Request Credit Line Increase" ?

Thank youl,

J

Nice.. did you request this over the phone with them?  Whenever I put my CLI requests in, I do it from within my account online and they never ask me how much.. They just offer me an amount and I can either accept it or so nah..

Re: Citi CLI success w/o HP

If I recall correctly, the last time I applied for a CLI with Citi was a few months ago and they declined due to high credit balances. And yes, I asked for the CLI through the "request a credit line increase" link online.
