Went in to the store on Sunday to renew my membership, then applied right away for the Visa, got the dreaded 7-10 day message in the store, clerk called underwriting to see if there was anything that needed verified, ended up talking with a rep who said I was declined for too many recent inquires? They pulled Equifax, I had 5! I said, no problem, Ill call Citi EO on Monday then, she just kinda chuckled like good luck, now mind you, I have a Citi ThankYou and Double Cash card, both with 0 balances. So yesterday, I called in to the EO number and my request was approved right away, my Equifax score is also 774, the gal I spoke with was super nice, and couldnt believe their system didnt approve my application? Limit $5,000.00, if I knew the woman's extension who chuckled at me Sunday, I would call her back and have her check my stauts again! lol! Nothing ventured, nothing gained I guess?
