*** Update ***
Got my card today..... first there was clear plactic over the chip on thecard which was strange but i was able to peal it off, and i activated the card..... later i called in to customer service and told them about the plastic and they said it was probably from the sticker so no worries..... next i asked when i would be able to request a credit increase and the nice rep in Missouri said i can request one at any time, so i proceeded with a credit increase request with her, and before she asked me any other information she said they were unable to instantly approve me for a credit increase and need to pull my credit and asked if i wanted to continue and i said yes..... i asked for $5,000 after the put in the request she placed me on hold and to get a credit analyst on the line..... she came back and had a rep from South Dakota on the line and she asked if i am putting in a request for $5,000 and i said yes and if you can approve me for less that's fine too..... she then said sure and placed me on hold while she reviewed........... she came back later and........... APPROVED FOR $5,000!!!!! So a hard pull was worth it!!!! I hope Barclays won't mind.
