I have been wanting this card awhile now and after my recent Amex 3x credit limit increase denial, down in the dumps because of it, and with a little push from B335is I went for the application. Wasnt approved instantly, I'm guessing because my EX is frozen, but they gave me a status link so I could keep an eye on it. Sure enough 6 hours later I was APPROVED! Happy right? Well not exactly. I was only approved for $3k??? I didn't even think they gave limits under $5k? Its not the low limit I'm upset about, its the notion that I'll end up without a signature version. I've looked all over this and many other forums and I couldn't find another with a limit under $5k. Extremely confused... should I recon the limit?

Congrats on the approval!
My partner's limit is $3,600. Mine is $6,500.
Congrats on the approval! Thanks for sharing.
One7,
I sent a message too. I'm sorry for the low limit. I believe $3k is the lowest Citi goes for their Signature cards. I CLD one of my Hilton cards awhile ago and the CSR told me $3k to maintain Signature version. I would contact EO and advise the limit is useless for a $60 AF. You need at least $5-6k to use the card for it's intended purpose.
congrats

Is your partner's a Signature card?
