Citi Simplicty Approved!

Well, I made a full year and my FICO score of 701, I decided to leave the garden and apply for a Citibank Simplicity. I got it!

At first I got an online message saying they need more info. I knew my score was good, but they would contact me by mail. Today I get a call from a Citi rep and they just need more info (since I have a fraud alert on my my credit reports).  Approved for $5k! I feel like it's so easy to get approved these days, when a few years ago, no one would give me a chance. My first card in over 2 years when I went gangbusters.

Re: Citi Simplicty Approved!

Thanks gang.  The trick for me was to stop coming to these forums. No offense, but I was able to garden for a whole year by doing so and I finally dropped ALL but 3 inquiries on my CR since I racked them up in 2012 (bought a house, got 6 credit cards, bought a car, yikes!).

Of course you guys/gals are great, but off to the garden until fall of 2015 when I'll try to get some "preferred" cards.
