Citi double Cash approved after recon.

I applied for citi DC on April 5th but was denied for having too many inquiries. My exprian fico score was 720 and 6 inquiries. So I called their EO number and asked for reconsideration. I got a mail today saying that I was approved 😁 with a 500$ limit 🙁. But hey, at least I got in and can work my way through to a bigger limit.

That is exactly right. Good for you for taking the effort to get that denial overturned.

My own Citi card when i started out was just $800 dollars, it was on a first approval but after only 2 months full statement cuts when i called their EO requesting a more usable line with them, they approved that up to $2K which when you're starting out is good enough to get things headed in the right direction for those SP CLI's Citi does every 6 months.
