@ElMayimbe wrote:I travel ALLOT on business and while my CSP does an excellent job for me in terms of travel rewards, I wanted a hilton card. For a while I was between the Amex Hiltons and Citi Hiltons. I finally narrowed it down to Surpass vs. Reserve, it came down to Citi with Chip, Automatic GOLD, No Foreign fees, Anniversary weekend night stays vs. Amex Automatic Silver, No Chip+ Foreign transaction fees, and airport lounge access but $99 membership to priority. So, I app'd for Citi Hilton Reserve and wasn't instantly approved just had to call and provide some details.
Initially apporved for $7500 but I asked for $10k and got it---wish I would've asked for $15k!. I'm happy and card is in the mail!.
Congrats on your approval
Thanks all!. Looking forward to putting some serious miles on this card.
I think the Amex Hilton Surpass is better.
It comes with free Gold and a ton of other free stuff, not to mention I wound up with 50k points after FIRST purchase even thought I had to pay the AF of $75 , those 50k points were worth about $300
