I wonder why this doesn't work for my blue nile account.
When I click the "Request Increase" button, it immediately takes me to a window that says my account is not eligible for an increase at this time.
I've had the card since December 2013, made one large purchase ($3800 on the $4500 limit), and currently have a balance of $800 (paying it off before the interest-free period ends!). Maybe I don't use the card often enough, but it throws up that message so fast that it doesn't seem to consider anything about my account or credit. I'm puzzled...

call the phone number and tell the automated system you want a "Credit line increase" when it asks what it can help you with.
follow prompts
when it asks "if you want a specific amount for your cli" SAY "NO"
if you get congrats, what else can I help you with... pretend you just started the call and repeat steps from beginning "Credit line increase"
until it says sorry we could not give you and will get letter, then you are done and hang up and the letter will just simply say we couldn't increase you because it looks like you were recently increased!
Congrats!
Thanks CreditAddict! Calling the number did the trick. I inched my way up in increments of $250, $500, and $750 all the way from the initial limit of $4500 to $14750. Wowza! Not that I would EVER use that much credit for Blue Nile, it will definitely help my utilization (which is actually fine as it was).

WOW!
I don't mean to ask a question that has probably been asked a bagillion times but I figured I could get more of a specific answer posting my own stats. Im looking to build a ring through Blue Nile (Probably 2-3k) with TU / EX at 637 and EQ at 593.
What are the chances of approval with their credit system and will it be a decent limit? Not looking to max it out. I also have a monthish or so before I do it so I could hop in the garden more and possibly get all three scores to around 650.
Thanks Everyone

Have used my account twice for small purchases for gifts.
Recently was able to request and receive a $500 increase up to $1250. Was feeling lucky today and hit the luv button and got another $500, up to $1750.
Logged out and started recalling others saying that they've tried it multiple times, so I gave it a shot...I was able to increase my Blue Nile credit limit from $1250 to $10,750 today...all in increments of $500/ea.
Holy SP jackpot!!! This should certainly help my overall utilization!!
Whoa!! Congratulations!!
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!
Correction, Not at 593 anymore, just moved up to 632 with EQ as of today. Wonder if this will help ....
