Comenity Monthly CLI RoboLady

Ughhhhhh I did a CLI through Robolady on my Overstock & Crew card on 2/15 and I got an inquiry on my Exp for Jcrew. This has never happened and I didn't ask for a specific amount. I can't afford to have an inquiry right now.

Overstock is at $1800 now (starting CL in Dec $1200)

JCrew $1100 (starting CL in Dec $500)

Each card got a $400 compared to the usual $200 increment

That makes me hesitant. I was going to try on my one Comenity card but it isn't worth a HP since I probably will close this card this year.

Anyone else get a HP doing this?

I got increases on VS and JCrew last week, no HPs have shown for me

I have 5 Comenity cards, well HAD (I closed JCrew and Overstock today).  I got 2 increases on VS and 1 on Ann Taylor. No-go on JC, OS and P1 - Luv button or Robolady. 

I wrote in on P1 because I'd really like a usable limit there. It may be a HP. I hope it's EX if so. It's my highest score right now and has the fewest inquiries.

Do you use the card each month?  Also in the months you have 300 do you try for more and do they say no after the first increase?   My first statement cut and I paid in full at J Crew and requested increase and  got the 300 increase.  I wonder if it is better to ask for a set amount.  I got approved for Pottery Barn at 2500 and immediately requested another 1000 and got it.  The Pottery Barn is actually useful as they give you 12 months 0 interest.  I am not sure if having more than 1k at J Crew serves any purpose.

Comenity has been randomly doing HP CLI's for store cards as well as Visas/ MC for well over a year now, and there are many posts in the forums relaying this information.

Best to expect a HP and be glad if you don't receive one. There really is no way to tell in advance if it will be HP or SP for a CLI request, even on store cards.

It is definitely playing with fire to request lots of CLI's from Comenity. Good luck.
