Confused! I Got a Fingerhut Card after being denied!!

I took a chance last week and applied for a Fingerhut account, they declined me.  Today in the mail there was a card from Fingerhut with a $300 CL!  It was a welcome letter!  So now I am happy.  I have a Cap One QS 1 Card, 1st Premier Card and now Fingerhut! 

I don't understand why I was declined then got the card though LOL

Gettington and Fingerhut have basically the same products but Fingerhut is always more expensive. I make small purcahses on both just to keep the accounts active..

Thats ok, I got a card and a good credit line reporting from them since December and I never even returned their preapproval.

That's cool! I only have $300, but I just did it to help with my utilization.  I may buy 1 or 2 things for the holidays, but small amounts and payable LOL
