DW'S USAA CLI Success

So my wife decided to press the luv button on her USAA cards. She asked on her USAA Platinum card (which has a 1K limit and she hasnt used it in a year and has never had a balance) and was denied. We figured the lack of usage played a factor in the denial. the next day she went to her Rate Advantage card ( 3K limit, 1K balance) and was instantly increased to 8K! Checked her EQ today and only one inquiry. So it seems usage potentially plays a role in whether or not they will increase the account. Glad to see that even if you get the denial message on one card, if have you have another card go ahead and try for an increase on that account as it is only 1 inq.

The first 6 months of my usaa Had heavy usage, got 11k, from 7k. The following 6 months it was very rarely used, and when I hit luv button it went from 11k, to 22k. So I don't think usage has a heavy weight on it

Where is this "luv button" for the USAA cards? I have a card and I've never seen it!

there is a box on the right hand side of the screen "I want to"  and its the 5th down on the list, just below "transfer card balance to usaa", if you don't see it there it could be that your card is too new (i think less than 6 months or maybe 1 year).  or some cards were not allowed for "luv" button, therefore you have to call.

Thanks-found it. But since it would be a HP on my credit report, I'm going to wait until the end of next month when it's a full year old to better my chances of it being approved for a CLI.
