Both.... When I called in with the letter I had just paid it to zero. When I called to let them know I would be traveling and they offered me the zero % interest I jumped on it. I booked a bear hunt and a deep sea fishing trip and put it on the Discover card and planned to carry that balance until I got back. The balance is $2180 today and I made a $200 paymet today that I had set up a couple weeks ago. I set up another payment today for when I am gone. I got the increase before I scheduled the payment. My statement hasn't generated yet but it will when I am gone so I wanted to get it all set up before I left.

Than I get a letter in the mail asking me to call them that I *might* be elgible for a CLI. I call. They want clarification on my mortgage payment and how it is reporting. Simple answer. They jump me up 2k. I am happy. $3500 to $5500
Wait the 16 days thinking maybe I can get another one. NO. Not me. Wait another 16 days. NO GO.
Whatever - happy with what I got with the letter and phone call.
Getting ready to go trek across Alaska for 3 weeks and deciding which cards to take. Discover was for sure. Called to let them know not to freak with lots of charges so far from home. They tell me I am elgible for either a interest deduction or 0% interest for a year. I take the 0% 12 for a year.
Logged on today to pay my bill and decided why not try again.
DRUM ROLL>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $3500 increase...... from $5500 to $9000!
Thanks Discover! You treat me well and I will treat you well!
Awesome!!!
Wow! Congrats on those CLIs!
