What else to to on a rainy day but app for different cards. Do you guys think I should app for AMEX BCE? Is it likely if im approved for discover I would be approved for AMEX?

Congrats on the Approval!!! Not sure about the BCE, no experience with Amex....but in order for others to give you a better idea as to your chance of approval, may wanna go ahead and ask ya for more info on your credit profile. Baddies, AAoA, etc. etc...

only baddie I have is on tran and experian, collection from 2008 paid in full, drops in july 2014 ive been told. aaoa is at 2y 3 months not counting this discover i just got approved for.

I'm sure others will probably give you more sound advice concerning Amex, but IMHO I would wait until that baddie falls off before apping for BCE, Amex does pull EX.

I got an invitation from Discover to apply for IT Card with an Invitation Code. But, I guess I'll wait for my Amex BCE to finish 61 days and see if I can get 3x CLI and then apply for Discover IT.

I appreciate all the congratz, anyone know if I have a good chance to get approved for amex bce if approved for Discover? Or is amex a little harder to get?
