Discover IT approval BK Ch 7 discharged 12 months

Applied for Discover IT with the link for $150 cash back. Got the 5-7 day message.  First thought was that I was denied, but I called them up and they gave a counter for $1K credit limit, 6 months 0%,  no cash bonus, 22.9% APR. I gladly accepted the offer. Only question asked was how long along I filed BK.  Ch 7 filed 12/12 and discharged 4/13 and never had a Discover card.  They pulled my Equifax score @ 686.  After BK discharged I got 2 Capital One cards ($200 and $3K limits after 6 months auto CLI) to start rebuilding ASAP. Approved for Barclay's reward last month $1,500 limit and now Discover $1,000. It is possible to get Discover with recent BK.  Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences because I never knew you could call for a recon.
