Hadn't seen this thread until just now but also discovered that Discover has some new-found generosity.

Jan 8 2015:  Activated new card at $4,000 limit

Mar 8 2015:  Automatic SP CLI $600 ($4,000 -> $4,600)

Apr 8 2015:  Requested SP CLI - got $2,500 max (picked nice round number, $4,600 -> $7,000)

Apr 24 2015:  Requested SP CLI - got $2,500 max (picked max, $7,000 -> $9,500)

This card was kind of the red-headed (garnet-headed?) stepchild of my wallet until they started showing this love!  I don't know what's gotten into them, but I like it.

To sweeten it up even more, I got my first Starbucks gift card from them today!  And they're finally going to start supporting Apple Pay this fall!

So quick update; statement cut a few days ago and tried again today; no go. 

I had tried a week ago (denied) and got the notice in the mail. "Insufficient history at current limit" 

The train may have left the station... either way; I'm happy with the increses I got last month!

I've tried to get a cli like once a week for the past month but nothing still. Oh well.
