It's the first time I've ever received an email telling me I was eligible for a CLI. There is a link to go to their credit center to find out. Of course, I'm always interested in CLI's, but US Bank does a hard pull for CLI's if I remember correctly, and I'm not liking that too much.
Has anyone else received this email, and if so, did you go for it? Was it a hard pull or a soft pull?
I never got a email, the only CLI I got was an auto CLI in Sept, 2012 (3 months after I opened account).
USBank "use" to offer up to $1500 CLI on SP every 6 months and up to $3000 CLI with SP on Business Accounts... If they are reaching out to you TAKE IT!
What I don't get is why banks do this sort of thing vs JUST FORK OVER THE CLI!!! Geesh... WE WANT IT
Well, I followed the link and didn't even have to log into my account. There was a list of FAQ's and I saw this:
Will this credit line increase request require a credit check?
No, line increases through this process will not require an additional credit check (also known as bureau score review).
So I clicked submit after answering a couple questions - zip code, last 4 numbers of SSN, last four numbers or credit card, salary. It came back with in increase of $4,500 making my new CL $19,500.
Nice increase!
That's good stuff. I've never received an increase offer from them.

It was a first for me too, and I've been banking with them for over 20 years!

I received the same e-mail yesterday for Cash+ card... and clicked the link... read the Q&As and saw no HP. Proceeded and also got a $4500 increase to my credit line. Pretty simple! I've had my card for 4 years and also have a BB&B MC from them with a $15k limit.

Cool! US Bank must be doing CLI's for the upcoming holiday shopping season. It was my Cash+ card as well.
