Well, I kind of saw this coming.. Checked the website this morning to see the app status and it was denied. I called the # just to find out the reason and was told internal risk factor, score too low, too many inquiries in last 12 months (i think i have 5 not including this Amex deniel), amount of time account has been established with amex. I'm just hoping this one doesn't count as HP.
So, i guess I'll just wait till next year or so and try again.
BTW, I called chase and asked them to move some limit to freedom to bring it upto 5K and asked them to upgrade to Visa Sign. They already moved required limit from Slate to freedom and said they will call me within 2 days with the decision. I'm planning on moving the rest of the limit from Slate to CSP and Slate would be closed then. It should not mess up my Score right?
