Dear ********,
Thank you for contacting Chase to request a credit line
increase on your account.
In order to process a credit line increase on your
account, here's what you need to know:
* You can apply for an increase up to $19,000.00 without
Chase obtaining a copy of your credit report as long as
the offer remains available.
* If you request an increase over $19,000.00 or the above
offer is no longer available, you authorize Chase to
obtain a copy of your credit report, credit report
history, and any other information needed in order to
determine if the request can be approved.
Here's what we need from you:
* We need your gross annual income to process a credit
line increase. You don't need to tell us about alimony,
child support or separate maintenance income if you don't
want to consider these as a basis for repayment. Gross
Annual Income is income that you are able to use for
repaying your debts. Examples include income earned from
salaries, investments, rental properties, Social Security
benefits, and retirement accounts.
* We also need to know the amount of the credit line
increase you're requesting.
* Finally we need your Housing Status of Own or Rent as
well as your monthly housing payment.
* Please reply to this email with the above listed
information. After we receive your response, we'll email
you back to let you know if your request was approved.

That is interesting. Seems Chase is changing.
Congratulations!
How long have you had this account open? I have never tried to get a CLI from Chase - thought I should just wait to see when my account hits a year in Jan. Hmmm - wondering now.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
My account is open with them for about 1 year. Also I have relatively short credit history in general. I got my first secured credit card on 09/2012.
I told my DW to ask for a CLI after seeing your message, let's see what happens. Only 4 statements, the 5th cut in 3 days. The card started at $500 because there was not a single card reported in EX and that's what Chase pulled, only 2 HP.
Asked for SP CLI, don't want HP right now.

There was already a pending offer to grant you a CLI. Otherwise this would have been a HP.
