Hello Everybody,
I was just checking my Email and saw that I had received an Email from GTE Financial, which I had joined a while back. It said I had been pre-selected for a Go Signature Credit Card. Knowing that a Signature typically has a $5,000 minimum and knowing that a pre-selection requires a lender to make an offer provided the circumstances remained the same, I decided to look into this further. I had to complete the application, and lo and behold, I was approved. Then came the amazing part: The SL is $20,000! I'm having the card overnighted so I can prove that this is real!
I know I stepped out of the garden, but for this, I had to. I'm going back in!
Excuse me while I do the dance of joy!
Just so you know:
EQ: 722 TU: 737 EX: 724 All jumped upwards dramatically in the last month as all of my derogatory accounts fell off.
I must be dreaming. Nine months ago, I got approved for my first card, a CapOne Platinum with a $500 SL.
Now THAT is a reason for stepping out of the garden !!
Congrats
Got some more information about the card:
APR 14.74% (maybe a little high for most, but it's my lowest by a good 2%)
3X points on gas, travel, and home improvement
2X points on groceries and recurring bills like your utilities, gym and cell phone
1X points on everything else!
$3,000 spend in 3 months = 10,000 points
Yes, the SL was included. It's still $20,000!
P.S. Thanks Meanmchine

Congrats on the high limit and the great rewards.
Congratulations, what a score! I wasn't familiar with the card so just had to look it up. Good to see that the points are truly worth 1 cent per point, so it looks like a really good one.
