Amex BCP - Experian Score 735 - 0% intro then 21.99
Freedom - Card Aquisition Risk Score 721 - 0% then 18.99 It's a Visa Siggy
Freedom is by far the best looking card I own.
While that may not be the most sexy APR in town, be sure to use the card and show a good overall history and build your internal score. After 12 months, contact them to review your APR to see if your account would be elegible for a lower one. No HP for this.

Carrying a balance is definitely a no-no on the card .... but still
Reading Amex T & C, cardmember agreement ...
apparently.... my 0% intro APR period ends after July 2014, also, there's no 0% for balance transfers it's also 21.99
not that I intended to use it for that, but dang

I personally wouldn't carry a balance on any AMEX revolver, but that's just my approach. There's all kinds of different strategies that work for different individuals. Just use it regularly to build history and after the 12 month anniversary contact them to see if that 21.99% can go lower. If you don't use that card or put very little use on it, then your negotiating power will not be as strong.

Wells Fargo Visa $1700 (10/2012) Went from being secured $1000 to unsecured in 9/2013; Auto CLI in November. Recently asked for SP CLI, denied.
Discover It $2500 (7/2013) 0 then 18.99%; responded to mail offer ; asked for SP CLI early December, denied, quoted a FICO score from way back on 10/27
Amex Green NPSL (7/2013) - responded to mail offer, I thought this was just going to be my "get the foot in the door with Amex" card, somehow, it just became my primary
GE / Amazon $2000 (7/2013) - Started out as $600, auto CLI after 4 months to $1200, then recently I asked for a SP CLI to $2000, in hindsight, I think I was being too conservative
Scores Prior to Applying:
MyFico EX 742
MyFico EQ 723
Discover TU 693 [ Stil hadn't updated since last statement cut on 12/27 ]
Utilization 350/6200
AAoA 8.25 months
Income 61.3K
Inqs EX 1, TU 4, EQ 1
Clean File
1. Chase Freedom - Instant - $7000 18.99%
2. BCP - Instant - $7500 ??.??%
3. PRG - Instant
4. Paypal Extras MC - Instant - $2000 [ Will probably recon when I know Transunion have updated, but knowing GE, I'm sure the limit will grow ]
AAoA should drop to 5.5 once Chase and Paypal report, then I should pick up 28 months or so in 2 months once Amex reports, it will go back to 9.125
Lots of decisions to be made at the end of the year regarding AF, but we'll see how it goes. I need to add an AU to reach the 30K threshold for PRG though, I can only manage about 22K alone, without touching gas/groceries/restaurant categories for the cashback cards. Green has served me well but will be closed after I apply for an airline card next year.
Credit went from 6200 to 22700 in a day.
I'm not sure how much to ask for from Amex in 61 days, but I'm not going to try 3X, ideas?

Sorry to hear about your denied CLI
No biggie. Back to the sock drawer you go. Wonder what's gonna be in that denial letter.
