Sweet.  I've been eyeballing it, but decided PC to the freedom sig instead, with no annual fee.  Besides the awesome metal card, how do you justify the extra cost?  Is it just worth it to have the metal?  I'm tempted...  but I hate annual fees.

Re: Freedom to CSP PC successful!!!!

Did you still get the signup bonus when you do this?  If not, then hardly worth it for just a metal card.  The whole point to having the CSP is to have th Freedom to utilize the the UR bonuses involved.  Also, the signup bonus for the CSP helps pay for at least 4 annual fees.

MY WALLET: Chase Sapphire Preferred $12,500, Chase Freedom $12,500, Chase Ink Bold NPSL, Amex Blue Cash Everyday $25,000, Bank Americard Cash Rewards $17,500, Discover It $9,000

Congrats on the PC. Like others have commented, PC to Signature and app for the CSP would have been the way to go to reap the best benefits/rewards.

Re: Freedom to CSP PC successful!!!!

For those who asked, I did not apply for this card because I did not want another inquiry. I already opened a new Amex Gold and a Discover It this month and so I'm not sure if it would approve. I plan on using this card for travel and the no foreign transaction fees alone will more than pay for the annual fee. Those 40,000 points do sound nice though.
