From $1000 to $22000 in 10 months with Discover!

Yes they were soft pulls. Requested monthly.

I usually get a denial on the first request. But am successful on the second or third. I just keep requesting back-to-back until I get an increase. I probably have my timing off... But since it's a soft pull with no penalties I just keep pressing that LUV button.

Do you mean you keep requesting multiple times in one day?

My penalty fear would not be a HP but AA from Discover.

I requeste them the day after the billing close that for me is the 27 of each month, so the 28 I hit the LUV button, sometimes I forget and hit it up to a week later but that's it.

I wait for a statement to cut to make a CLI request and then I make a request every three days if I fail. It's worked every time except November.

I also make extensive use of Discover Deals and 5% quarterly cash back bonus. I'll be getting close to a thousand dollars when the double cash back promo ends.

OP, just want to know when you got your last increase which was over $20000, did they have to call and verify your employment? That's what I heard about dis that they verify once you hit 20000 limit
