I just got my Walmart card in the mail today. $700 credit limit. I tried to call in for a cli because I wound'nt mind taking advantage of the 0% for 18 months for a new 60' TV. I got denied for the cli. I wonder in I can try again since.

Happy Dance. I called again and the 2 rep turned me down tonight. When I was turn downI ask to speak to a supervisor. .3 minutes later The CR rep came back and said I was able to approve you for $400 more from $700 making it $1100. New TV coming soon for Football. Yesss. Thanks again everyone for your input.

I have had a Walmart card since November 2011. I get a CLI evry 4 months like clockwork without even asking.
What's your secret?? I got an auto after the first 6 months but the rest have been initiated. I tried the PIF method for several months but was denied for CLIs; then I started carrying a small balance and they have been approving them.

I honestly don't know what my secret is except maybe because I use it alot. I carry a balance but not a high one. My husband opened his card at the same time and we both get auto CLIs every 4 months. The first ones were for $500 each, the ones we just got were for $800. I also get large CLI increases on my Paypal, AMazon and Lowes cards too.

Just got my FIRST CLI!!!!! Went from $400 to $550....... Ugh!!!! I've had this card since October!!!!! & it wasn't even an auto-CLI!!!!!! Not liking this pattern.........
Maybe baddies or income? My income is not that great but my TU FICO is 765. I have had my wally card since August 11 and it went from 400-700-1400-2400. Only the first CLI was an auto the rest were all me. I request a CLI every 1-2 months and get denied a lot too. Never a hard inq so I don't care. Just hang in there!!!
So you requested by calling them or there is any way online ??

I have a few GE cards that all saw increases around the same time. Walmart only gave me $100 but I saw anywhere from $300-$400 on the others. No complaints because they were all automatic. I'd axe Walmart if it were not for the free TU Fico score. I just don't use it a lot especially since mom has me as an AU on her Sams Discover.
