I've been counting the days until 61 days with my Amex Skymiles Gold card, and the day finally came today. I was approved when I got the card for $8,000, and I was just instantly approved for the full 3x CLI! A $24,000 limit sounded like something they'd never let a college student have, so I'm really excited right now. It really takes the sting off being denied by Chase a couple weeks ago because they don't count college financial aid as income, but I called Amex to verify and they said that I could absolutely count my financial aid. Another reason to love this company!
