I hit the button my my GF account and she got a two day message Sunday night, last night we logged in and she got a 3K increase from 5k to 8k.
She got her last increase about 45 days ago, and that was the only increase she got since opening the account.
I got a handful of CLIs during the crazy train and have not gotten one since 5/20.
Well... 62 days after opening my account I got no love when I pressed the button I'll make another good payment on it and try again. Wait for the "3-5 day message" to see what the reasoning is.

I think that's the best information I can give you. I just tried for a CLI today and got:
At this time, we cannot increase your credit line.
However, you can make another request at a future time. You will receive a letter in 3-5 business days that will detail the reasons for this decision.
Is this the instant denial? I am probably just going to try after every statement. There's really no loss to doing it so I can see when they'll feel like giving me a CLI again. Thanks! For science!
A rep told me they switched back to the 90 day thing. Hinted that trying inbetween the 90 days resets. This was hinted by another poster in his theory earlier in the thread.
Is it 90 day from the increase? or 90 day from last time you asked for a CLI
Heeeeeyyy Discover FINALLY let me jump on the train! Not much but they just gave me a $500 CLI. I'll take it! But since I missed the bullet train you guys were on I guess I have to wait 90 days to try for more huh?
I just hit it and it straight up shot me down. Said I would get a letter stating why in 3-5 days. Oh well. I got one at the beginning of May from them and I never use my discover card as my experience with them hasn't been great.

I got the same message to but I also have noticed that you can always hit the button the next day unlike when we were getting the credit line increase beforehand when we had to wait two or three days before we could hit the love button again.
Hit the button this morning and got a 2 day message. Just logged back in and got a 4K increase bringing me up to 15400. No verification of income or job yet.
Last increase was Jun 09, 2015 and I have been hitting the button every 4-5 days. Looks like 45 days between increase.
