How accurate is Cap 1's Credit Steps quote??

I was able to switch from QS1 & Platinum to QS and Venture One respectively after 2 months of having the accounts. I'm hoping because I PC'd to some of their prime cards, that will allow them to give me a better CLI when the steps does come in, along with my aggressive spending on the cards.

As long as you meert the guidlines, Credit Steps is accurate in the sense that you will get a CLI of at least the amount promised.

It can be more, but you will certainly get whats promised at the very least.

I think once I get to $10K spent through the cards I'll start focusing on the Barclay card in hopes to get a larger increase with them as well. To my understanding they like usage as well.

Well I'm tomorrow and sunday will close in on my 4th statements for the cap cards and I'm hitting $10K on them ($9.8K to date). Should I start focusing my spending on Barclay now? Trying to maximize my increases, of course.
