Huge Cap One CLI???

So I have terrible credit (mid 500s) that I've been trying to rebuild by making payments in time and cleared any debt I had... Been working on it about 2 years. I've had an HSBC card that moved to Capital One a little over a year ago - I had a balance of 300 with no sign of increase I used it regularly but not a lot of spending cause of the low limit. It's the only card I've had in two years...

I just randomly went to capital ones site and had a cli of $2000 my limit is now $2300!! And they moved me to the capital one QuickSilver one card! I'm very grateful I just don't understand...

Who knows.  Either you did something really right or they're being more relaxed with CLI again.  I just went from 1k to 3k.  So it seems to be happening.

Congrats on your increase! I wish that happened with my old Orchard Bank card. I'll have to wait and see if Capital One gives me some luv too.

Hi!

Same thing just happened to me. I had an HSBC card with a $320 limit that was moved to Capital One about a year ago. Last week I went online to see if I could get a CLI, thinking they at least bump me up to $500, but they gave me $2030. They gave me the extra $30 because they round up to $50. I also have one of their student cards which my limit was $500 and they increased that one to $1000.00.
