The Approvals Section was my favorite ,it was the place where i came to see the good fortune of others as well as the place to share mine ,it was simple and neat ,Now it's a time consuming crowded mess ,i always say, if it ain't broke don't fix it Or don't fix it if you don't have to

This is a cluster **ck!! Seriously.... I see more apps crap in here than approvals, and they need to be separated!! It's confusing as hell! I'm seriously frustrated and not a good move... But just my little ole opinion...I'm sure this post will get moved to Smorgs, (the place where post go to DIE!!!)
Your post will not be moved to Smorgasboard. The Application Board is a work in progress and give usa little time to get the kinks out.
We took some of the suggesstions from you all and like everything else - we are always open for suggestions.
The more feedback we get with constructive criticism, the better it is for all of us.

Lexie,
I am a huge fan of this forum. As a fan I agree that the credit card applications should have their own section versus being meshed with the approvals. It is a bit overwhelming and being the very organized person that I am, it just isn't reader friendly due to the large amount of info in 1 section that isn't organized. I appreciate all that the mods do and I hope that you all take the suggestions into consideration.

Approval section was my Favorite..
Have to admit.. I Used to spend more time helping others,,in other Postings
Then I would suggest looking at Approval section as your Goal..
point out this could be you after you invest time before applying.. etc..
What would you like to see in the Applications Board?
You can either post your suggestions here or feel free to pm a MOD.
We will listen.
It's not like it mattered. People can't post in the right section anyways. Do you not see how many failed apps get posted in the approved section? It was ridiculous.
I am confused too. With changing, combining and moving things I don't know where to look for anything. I feel like a newbie here.
OK in reading through the comments maybe the post volume became too much though I haven't had enough time to go through it personally.
In the interests of going forward here's what I'd personally like: open community and the forum is for y'all, and we're willing to hear all sides on it. I'll out a few ideas some of which are summarized from this thread as I looked through it.
1) I'd really prefer y'all wait a week to see if it needs changing (and we can't instantly convert it to something else anyway)
2) What about an Approval thread, put all of them in there, or does that make it too difficult to find each one and too impersonal for the community?
3) Breaking out Approvals and Applications, basically taking everything we yanked out of CC's and putting it into a seperate board and having CC/CC Apps/CC Approvals. I can get behind that personally but the administrative burden is non-trivial for all the same reasons CC/CC Approvals wasn't working well from an administrative perspective. There was a lot of moving posts from Approvals, to Credit Cards, back to Approvals, and that's one of the things we were trying to address.
4) I saw a suggestion to break out Applications into various stages... not feasible in my estimation. The overhead would be enormous as this forum software doesn't make it easy to post in the correct board, and the more we break it out the worse it's going to get and definitely exacerbate the issue raised in #3 of thread shuffling. We have a lot of people through no fault of their own just hit "Post" and it winds up wherever. I understand this isn't intrinsic to our community but it would get ugly fast.
Anyway we are listening, I know the first reaction is it sucks, and maybe it does, but let's please discuss it as adults.
Many thanks,
