I have been waiting for this day! I even sent a request a month ago and was declined the increase!
But yesterday when I looked at my account I noticed I had more avaiable balance!
It went from $200 to $500!! I'm not rich and still rebuilding my credit so this to me is something amazing!!
So Capital One secured $500, Barclay $500, and the Amazon store card $600. Now i'm just trying to figure out how to properly use them to get score increases! Right now I'm just spending and paying off the amounts in two months but I don't know if that's the way to go.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Capital One's been on a roll lately, eh?
Grats on your CLI
Congrats!
Congrats. A couple days after my 6th statement, which was about a week ago...I got a $300 increase as well. I charged almost the max every month and PIF before the statement...never let a balance report. Idk if Cap1 gave me that kind of a CLI because of my heavy usage or not,...i've heard others say they only got a $100 CLI after 6 months.
congrats

Two pieces of advice. Use and pay off the Amazon card religiously. In 5 or 6 statements they should give you some luv. Also, if you can add additional deposits on the CapOne card, that increases your limit (albiet artificially) and when it graduates, should give you a larger base. It can also help with your util.
Other than that, pay faithfully and when you're ready to app for something, pay down around 1%util.
You might also consider a Walmart card for the free FICO score and generous increases.
