I'm in the same boat Dj. Experian is my weakest score. I apped for Blue Cash last spring and was instantly denied. I may try again spring of 2017.
In the end DJ, i believe you mentioned your baddie falls off in October and if this is true its only a few months away. Show thy patience and Amex will probably show you the money lol. Its tempting but get your card when you are clean and at least youll know you were well dressed for the occasion
