A little over a year after my first denial from Discover because of low income, my situation has changed dramatically. I have two store MCs with $2,000+ limits, a $900 store card, and have FINALLY been promoted from part-time to full-time, which puts me over that $10,000 baseline for the IT. I estimated my new income with my promotion (I actually low-balled it by $3,000 or so because I can't be positive what I will actually make) and clicked submit. I'm finally approved for the card I've been wanting for what seems like forever. I haven't called to find out my limit yet (UPDATE: Approved for $3,000! I am in absolute shock.) but it's 0% intro for 12 months and then %12.99 after that. Not the amazing 0% for 14 and 10.99 after offer I got a couple weeks ago, but still better than my other terrible rate cards).
I still can't believe it. I need a glass of wine.
(UPDATE: After a lot of deliberation and a little bit of wine, I pulled the trigger on the AMEX BCE as well--APPROVED for $2,500!)
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on the approval!
Congrats and welcome to the Discover family! I like being able to say that now
Congratulations on your recent milestone! If you're still curious about your CL, just call Discover - very nice folks!
Congrats!!

Awww...Congratulations!
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!
Thanks all I'm so excited. Now I'm just trying to decide if I should go for the other card I've had my eye on (AMEX BCE) or if I shouldn't press my luck too much. Oh decisions...maybe I'll try calling for my IT limit while I think about it lol
Well...I have a $3,000 limit. I kinda really want to app for AMEX now lol.
Congrats. I'm happy that Discover likes you already.
