Re: January 2013 - New Credit Card Approvals and CLIs

It was a hard pull on transunion I think. At least that's what credit karma said. I pressed the cli button on the website but my Internet browser shut down for some reason so I calthe and they asked why I wanted the increase and if I was still planning on pif every month...pretty easy process minus hp

[ Edited ]

chnceit - No, it would be another pull for the US Bank LOC.  That's what initiated my call to them about the LOC.  I thought for sure they could/would use the same pull from 2wks earlier.  I felt like the CSR was looking at the original pull because  she was telling me that I had nothing to worry about with being approved for the $15k LOC.

Almost forgot, got this same day I app'd for the USAA card last week.  BoA has been mail-offering me like crazy, so I went with it, before all of my new accounts had been reported.  US bank, DCU and Discover still not reporting.

Bank of America Cash rewards - $1500

Thanks for the kudos everybody, and congrats to all of you as well!

That's $34K in new credit. wow.  I'm  still in awe.

Stay tuned...

WOW!! Dude congrats! Thats huge! BTW Did US Bank use the same pull for your CC and LOC?

This was my recent experience:  First I did apply for USBank LOC, got it approved. Then I called the credit card dept and asked for a CLI based on the hard pull for LOC.  They said they dont have any way to do that as the under writing dept has control of it.  Then I called the UW folks and explained them the situation and asked for a $5000 CLI based on the recent HP. Two days later I have the requested CLI.  A total combined new credit of $19.5K with one HP!!!! I was so pumped!!!

Hi - was your Bank of America CLI a soft or hard pull?  I'm thinking about asking for an increase on mine.

It was a hard on TU for me.

Re: January 2013 - New Credit Card Approvals and CLIs

No new approvals for myself, as I'm happily sitting in the garden. But since I manage my DH's credit (with his complete knowledge and consent) and I've posted about it on this forum, I thought I'd go ahead and join in the fun on this thread...

For my DH... Chase Freedom MC, $1500 CL. The card just arrived yesterday! Smiley Happy

Re: January 2013 - New Credit Card Approvals and CLIs

tennisfan - 9.25%-13.25% on the US Bank LOC

Thanks for the kudos everybody.  It's crazy to think that just 4 mos. ago I had (3) TL's with $1250 of available credit.  Now I'm pushing $55k of actual available credit, and nearly $70k in available credit reporting.

I need to start  using these things.  Having a tough time transitioning from cash to credit.  It took so long for me to rebuild it, that I'm now afraid to touch it. lol.
