JetBlue Plus Approved After Recon

Just thought I'd share that I applied for my first travel card today JetBlue Plus and was told ten days before a decision could be made. Jumped in the shower and accepted the HP, but then also figured I'd give it a shot with recon. Called in, answered a few questions, approved for 2.5k. Just thought I'd share my experience as I read a lot on the Fico forums about calling in and it worked

They pull TU which at the time was 701 (probably going to drop down to 694)

6% CCU w/ 4 Total Accounts

AAoA 2yrs 5months

3 Collections

5 HP

It's not quite clear to me that you were denied. Sounds like you had a delay in decision and called in to complete verification?

Congrats on the approval for a great card. Glad you were able to to recon and get the card. Its always worth it to recon after taking a HP.

Oh and dont forget that after about 6 months or so you can call in and ask if you are eligible for a APR reduction then they transfer you and you should also be able to ask that representative if you are eligible for SP CLI. Good luck with the card.

This is one of the only cards I would love to have from barclay but everytime I apply it's an instant denial. Maybe someday they will open there gates for me. Congrats on the approval though!
