Hey guys i applied and was approved for Citi AA platinum select and was approved for 2800... Is it possible to PC right away to a TY Preferred or Forward card? Should have done my research before i apped fml... any advice?

I just spoke to Citi specialist who advised me that AA cards can be converted to another product but only 12 months after the opening date.

Thanks for the info! I will put a reminder to call them in 12 months. Hopefully I can do it before they charge the AF for my AA.

Yes, I'm aware, but I tried looking for info specifically on switching from AA to another citi product and couldn't find anything so I thought i would check in with this person to see if they ever got the answer, instead of starting a new thread.

Let them charge you the AF, that 's no problem. They will reverse AF charge when they PC you. That is what I am going to do in Aug-2014.
