I am so exicited. I just turned 18 and was approved for my first credit card, the First Premier Gold Card. It is really cool and has a $300 limit. I can even design my own card. I think I am going to put a picture of my puppy on it.

I am soooo stoked right now!

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

OP: Congratulations! You're making a good first step on your credit journey. I encourage you to read this forum and do your research on building credit! It's easy to mess up, especially if you're younger and not quite familiar with credit yet. You're very likely a responsible person, but if many of us could talk to our younger selves and fix things, we would in a heartbeat. So, instead we have people like you that we hope to encourage and assist, so that you don't walk the same mis-steps that we did!
