Its been a few years since I took a crack at Justice FCU, I decided on Saturday to apply for one of thier credit cards, I was approved this morning, with a credit score of 799! They have switched to FICO 09 Classic, I low balled and asked for $15,000.00, but asked the loan officer what I would qualify for max, she said she would check with an underwriter, I had an old National Sheriffs Association membership that I reactivated this morning, then went in, and filled out my membership application, I answered 5 identity questions, which came from a hard pull on Equifax, everything has went smooth so far, I'm just waiting on approval for membership, if my memory serves me right, they are VERY inquiry sensitive when it comes to opening up a membership account, I have (5), so we shall see, I have a very good feeling about this! I'll keep everyone informed on how this all pans out! Happy FAT TUESDAY!!! I forgot to add, they pull EQUIFAX exclusivley for all their consumer loan products.
Congrats on your Justice Approval!! CUs can be great
Congrats! Justice is a hard one to crack.
Ok, so I just got an email from the loan officer, my max approval for the Visa Platinum is $39,000.00, with an APR of 11.9%, I got an email from their membership department, wanting a copy of my drivers licence, social security card, utility bill, and my proof of membership with The National Sheriffs association, I got an email this morning all my documents have been forwarded to their review team? I pray this is good news, I'll continue with the updates, thanks!!!
Not implying anything, but can I ask what interests you in JFCU? Are you LE? Also, it looks like you don't need to be LE to join NSA. Does JFCU still require you to be current/former LE/DoJ?
Just curious. Congratulations on getting in and getting the SL though!

Congrats on the preapproval. FWIW, I had approximately 15 chex inquiries and a ton of credit bureau inq'swhen I was approved for membership. I wouldn't say they were too inq sensitive.
To be quite honest, I absolutely love law enforcement, and the service they provide to this great country of ours, and I can't think of a better way of showing my appreciation, then to patronize a financial institution that caters to them, all that said, I love their services and their rates on loan products, there's more reasons, but those are the top 2! I'm still waiting on membership to ok my savings account, seems to be a long process. (Sigh)
