My kays card turned 1yr old this month and i got an increase. 1400------>2200. I have only made two purchases on the card for the entire year.
That is great news!
Congratulations!!!
I've only had my card for 4 months with an initial cl of $4000 (but I can charge upto $5300) so, I wonder if I'll get a cli after the year.
Thanks That's why I posted because last year a lot of people were wondering the same thing. It seems likely in my opinion.
VeeVee,
Was it automatic? My 1 year anniversary was last month and nothing!! I called in and they said every CLI will result in a hard pull and you have to go into the store.
WTH? I charged a xmas present and made a few payments on time and paid it off. I'm stuck at $1,800!
Bwahaha!
Happy
Yes it was automatic saw it when I logged into my account yesterday. I have been logging in all this month to see if they would give a automatic cli because it has been a year and they did.

Awesome. That is good news as I have a 1500 limit in which I hope for an auto increase as well. The only thing I do not like is how they (& Jared) split the lines to make them look smaller on the reports now instead of reflecting the true total limit.
I read this in a bunch of places but it didn't happen with my cards. They are both still reporting individual limits of $1500. Maybe it's because both of mine have a balance. Do yours?

One does. What I see happening (others on the board as well this year) is that they report BOTH (Jared and Kays) with split lines of 750 (My limit is 1500). I purchased some items of nearly 1000. What I saw happening was the Jared line (which was not used) was decreasing in CL, and the reported Kays CL was increased.
So each time a pay my bill and it reports, the Jared line increases (though I have noty used it) and the Kay CL decreases in proportion to the CL. So if I add the two, they both add up to 1500 even though the Kay CL is higher. I disputed the lines to report at 1500 each, because that is what the limits were, but it stayed this way for only a bit.

I recently bumped a 6mo old thread highlighting this.....

I guess I've just been lucky so far. Although I can't be the only one. Still reporting two separate credit limits.
