Hi all! I am so excited! I received a mailer last week from my local credit union that I was pre-approved for their Cash Back CC. They are offering free balance transfers & 3% of the balance transfer amount back as a statement credit. I figured I'd give it a shot even though my score is down with my recent (within 5 months) inquiries & new accounts. Online said "Congratulations! We will contact you within 7-10 days and will let you know if we need additional information." I figured I might get a low SL based on that.
Letter came - Approved for $7,500 SL! That's my other 2 highest CL COMBINED! ($3500 & $4000) I'm THRILLED! Plus, this confirms that I will do my direct deposits to my local CU rather than online to PenFed who has been stingy lately. Local CU certainly is showing me some love!!! Very happy!
