Congratulations! Good story... a low limit is only a starter limit
Congrats! I love Macy's kitchen dept. Macy's and I are not on speaking terms though because they declined my macys Amex cli. Lol
Congrats!
They did the same for me!! I applied for an acount 2 days ago and they gave me an innitla $300 limit, they told me to call them to verify I am who I am, asked me the basic secuirty questions and then tild me that my credit line was $600!! It's my second highest and this will come in handy for the holidays (:
Congrats!
Congratulations. They started me at $600 also and the day after my third statement cut (which was really just over 2 months) I got on chat and told the guy I wanted to use the card more but the limit was too low and I was afraid of showing too much utilization. He came back after about 30 seconds and doubled it to $1200. Soft Pull from an Equifax account review by them about a week earlier that I had noticed when I pulled the report. Don't be afraid to ask after a while and keep the account growing!

My experience was similar. In May, I was denied at the register, but I was able to recon the next day and was approved for a $600 store CL. Less than a month later, I was able to add a $2900 Special Events credit line for a mattress purchase. After three statements, I was able to increase the store line from $600 to $1200 through chat. Three statements after that, I was able to move to $2500 through chat. And a little over a week ago, I was approved for the AMEX upgrade, which is a $1500 line of credit I can use outside of Macy's. They will definitely grow with you!
OP, congrats on CLI!
