Re: Macys CLI

Mine sat at a $100 for a couple of years...no auto CLI at all.

I called them sometime last summer, and they bumped me up to $800 which I was very grateful for, and is more than I'll ever use at Macy's...lol...

Re: Macys CLI

The CLI button on their website is only for their Amex. But I just recently, like 2 weeks ago, had my limit increased from 500 to 1500 with a soft pull.

Re: Macys CLI

this thread has inspired me to call Macys tomorrow and ask for a CLI. Something to do during lunch.

Re: Macys CLI

I got a modest bump from $300 to $1000 almost a month ago. I can confirm that it was a soft pull.

Also they stated it was a charge card, but under my credit report it reports the $1000 limit under the revolving section...(Which I'm not complaining about because of the Util benefit)

Did you just call the number on the back of the card?

It looks like they decreased my limit down to $100 from $1200 due to lack of activity. I wonder if they'll do anything for me.

Re: Macys CLI

[ Edited ]

In Oct 2012 I opened with $100, made a call to find out what this could be good for and they acted like they were just waiting for my call in order to bump it to the "real" limit, which was $800.  It was strange.  Since then I've called a few times about a CLI but never went through with it because they keep telling me it's a HP.  I've tried online chat, cust svr# and backdoor.

Update...  same day as above post  lol

Just checked my account, upon opening my statement from a few days ago, I saw my limit went from 800 to 2500.  Sweet! (been open 6 mos now)
